The United Nations (UN) has reported that although child immunization rates have stabilized after declines during the COVID-19 pandemic, misinformation and international aid cuts pose serious threats. By 2024, 85% of children who need to be immunized will have received all the doses needed, but 14.3 million children remain completely unvaccinated. Aid cuts and mistrust of vaccines threaten progress, especially in the context of measles outbreaks.
