The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced the commissioning of the first mobile MRI in Romania, a device that allows imaging investigations to be performed directly in the operating room and in intensive care units.

Romania has achieved a medical premiere by installing the first mobile MRI system, announced by the Ministry of Health. This technology, valued at over 1 million euros, allows for imaging investigations to be performed directly in the operating room and in the intensive care unit, reducing risks for critically ill patients and eliminating the need for their transport through the hospital. The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, tested the equipment, highlighting its efficiency, which allows for an MRI to be completed in just 6 minutes, compared to approximately 60 minutes for a conventional MRI.
