Parents' misinformation and reluctance to vaccinate has led to a drop in the vaccination rate to 62%, well below the 95% threshold for herd immunity. Doctors like Daniela Gafita face skepticism from parents, fueled by anti-vaccination theories promoted by the far-right. The authorities are being urged to take tougher measures to combat the trend.
