A man who hit a doctor on duty at the Fetești Hospital in 2022 received a sentence of two years and five months in prison. The decision is not final.

The Fetești Court sentenced Spartacus Banu to 2 years and 5 months of imprisonment for assaulting a medical staff member and disturbing public order and peace.

The incident occurred during the night, after the 27-year-old patient became violent during the medical consultation. Police intervened at the scene, and the man was detained and investigated for assault or other violence against a medical staff member, as well as for disturbing public order and peace.

The decision can be appealed within 10 days from the notification.
