The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, declared on Sunday evening that a reorganization of the residency system is necessary, considering that there are three times as many residents as those who can be included in the healthcare system in Romania.

"It is certain that a significant structural reform is needed, I say, because we are producing, with the necessary quotation marks, three times as many residents as we can include in the system, because the enrollment figures have gotten out of control in the last five years," said Alexandru Rogobete on Sunday evening at Antena 3.
