In the last 24 hours, Romanians have searched intensively on Google for topics in the area of sports, politics, current events, but also about public figures, entertainment and economics.
In sport, searches focused on Nations League soccer matches. The clash between Spain and the Netherlands was the topic of interest, especially in relation to the performances of players Cody Gakpo and Nico Williams. Searches focused on the score, highlights of the match and the performance of the two young players.
There were also numerous searches for Rasmus Højlund, after he scored against Portugal and imitated Cristiano Ronaldo in celebrating the goal. Romanians wanted to see the controversial play and the reactions in the international press.
