The interest of the public in Romania in the last 24 hours has focused on the unfolding of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, on internal political and administrative issues, as well as on economic, judicial, and social current topics.

The matches of the World Cup dominated the searches, especially the clash between England and Croatia, won by the English 4-2, thanks to the performances of Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, and Jordan Pickford. The match between Portugal and the Democratic Republic of Congo also drew attention, surprisingly ending in a draw, as well as the matches Ghana vs. Panama and Uzbekistan vs. Colombia.
