DIGITAL DUEL by NewsVibe. TOP 5 matches in the Romanian online space, in the last week

Last week brought the announcement and adoption of deficit reduction measures by the Government, by the accountability in Parliament. On this occasion, AUR announced its intention to submit a motion of no confidence against the Government led by Ilie Bolojan, as well as to challenge these measures before the Constitutional Court. Also in the last few days, the first tensions within the ruling coalition have emerged, with the PSD publicly contesting several of the Executive's decisions, although the Social Democrats have formally taken them on board.
In the context of the debate on deficit reduction policies, the PNL is preparing for the Congress, and the first clues about the future leadership team of the Liberals have appeared in the public arena.
Not least, INSCOP has published a poll on voting intentions for the parties, which has surprised with the rise of AUR and the PSD falling to a historic low in sociological measures.
Despite a busy political agenda, the evolution of parties in terms of the number of mentions in relevant online sources was not uniform. According to data analyzed through NewsVibe, a real-time monitoring software for online conversations based on artificial intelligence, PSD and AUR saw consistent increases compared to last week - over 53% and over 112% respectively - while PNL and USR dropped slightly and SOS Romania plummeted to below 100 mentions.

- National Liberal Party - 1,209 mentions
- Save Romania Union - 845 mentions
- Alianța pentru Unirea Românilor - 529 mentions

ComPARTIVE VISIBILITY AND IMPACT. The competitive analysis engine created by NewsVibe evaluates the strength of political actors to penetrate the online space, directly compared to their competitors.
70% of mentions about the parties and almost 65% of their estimated impact go to PSD and PNL, which remain the central actors of the government, but also the main protagonists of the coalition exchanges in the last few days. AUR continues to be the main voice of the opposition - although it generates only 11% of mentions, its estimated impact is 17%, higher than that of mentions of USR, another government actor.
We can therefore conclude that the attention of the relevant online sources has been mainly focused on PSD and PNL, as the governing parties, and AUR, as the main opposition party.
