The European Commission announced on Monday the approval of an additional financial aid of 6.1 billion euros for Ukraine, intended for the purchase of new defensive systems, including air defense systems, missiles, ammunition, and radars.
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, emphasized Europe's commitment to supporting Ukraine in the face of intensified Russian attacks, stating that the European Union will provide the necessary assistance to protect the population and the Ukrainian sky.
So far, the European Union has provided Ukraine with a total of 220.3 billion euros, including financial, economic, military, and humanitarian assistance.
