The weather in Romania will remain particularly cold, with severe frost in the morning and evening, according to ANM. Maximum temperatures will vary between -10 and 0 degrees, while minimum temperatures will be between -20 and -5 degrees, with the lowest values in Transylvania. In Bucharest, a maximum of approximately -5 degrees and a minimum between -12 and -10 degrees are expected. Additionally, a new episode of polar vortex instability is forecasted, which could bring an even more intense cold wave towards the end of January and the beginning of February. The cold will persist, and precipitation will be below normal levels, intensifying the feeling of harsh winter, especially in the northern part of the country. The first days of February will not bring significant changes regarding temperatures, which will remain below the multiannual averages.
