The weather in Romania will warm up slightly, with temperatures above the usual averages in the western, central, and southeastern regions. On Thursday, the sky will be variable in the west, but in the rest of the country, overcast conditions will prevail, with temporary rain in Oltenia, Muntenia, Dobrogea, and Moldova. In Maramureș and Crișana, local precipitation will be reported in the early hours of the day. The rain will extend into Transylvania, and in the mountains, there will be mixed precipitation. The wind will blow lightly to moderately, with intensifications in Banat and in the mountains, while maximum temperatures will range between 1-2 degrees in southern Oltenia and 14-16 degrees in Banat. In Bucharest, the sky will be cloudy, with rain and fog conditions. Meteorologists warn that, although the weather will warm up, a cold wave will return on Sunday. Between February 9 and 16, higher temperatures and frequent precipitation are expected, and the trend of warm weather will continue until the end of February, preparing for a gentle transition to meteorological spring.
