During a patrol action in hard-to-access areas, engineer Alin Brotea from the Gorj Forestry Directorate captured impressive images of wildlife in their natural environment, in forests covered with snow. Romsilva shared these photographs on Facebook, highlighting the beauty of the wilderness in the forests managed by the Runcu Forestry District.

These rare images were taken as part of a forest monitoring action, which spans nearly 9,500 hectares in the Jiu Gorge National Park, of which 1,810 hectares are public state property, framed in an integral protection zone where human intervention is prohibited.
