In the first 11 months of 2023, electrified cars accounted for 47.6% of all new car registrations in the EU.

During the same period, new car registrations in the EU rose by 15.7%, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association. Sales of battery-powered cars rose by 4.9%, gasoline-powered cars by 4.4%, while deliveries of diesel-powered cars fell by 10.7%. Romania reported growth of 0.5% in November 2023.
