Police officers have opened a criminal case for attempted violation of voting secrecy after the mayor of a commune in Maramureș installed a surveillance camera in a polling station. This was reported by a citizen and the camera was dismantled in the presence of the police. Other incidents of voter corruption were also reported the same day.
