The Municipal Electoral Office has taken note of the withdrawal of Virgil-Alexandru Zidaru, known as Makaveli, from his independent candidacy for the Capital City Hall, scheduled for December 7.

The withdrawal request was submitted on November 21 and complies with all legal conditions. Makaveli announced that he will join Anca Alexandrescu's team, which he will support in the electoral competition. After November 23, the candidacies became definitive, and there are 17 candidates remaining in the race. The drawing for the order numbers on the ballots will take place on Monday.
