The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) announced that on December 7, 2025, citizens from Bucharest and other localities will participate in partial local elections. On Tuesday, AEP will designate through a computerized draw the presidents of the electoral offices of the polling stations and their deputies. According to the legislation, the designation must be completed five days before the voting, and the selected individuals must be from the Body of Electoral Experts, with priority given to those with legal studies. The results will be published on the AEP website and at the offices of the electoral bureaus. The partial local elections will take place for mayors in communes in the counties of Bihor, Botoșani, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Ialomița, Iași, and Maramureș, as well as for the City Hall of the Capital and the Buzău County Council.
