The BEC's decision was taken following a complaint filed by AUR, which complained that Nicușor Dan's post contained political advertising material uploaded after the end of the electoral campaign, contrary to the legal rules. The BEC found that the post was published on Facebook after 07:00 on May 3, 2025, and requested its removal from the online platform.
