The Permanent Electoral Authority found irregularities in the financing of Nicușor Dan's campaign, including the use of public resources and undeclared donations

AEP has finalized an audit of the electoral campaign of Mayor Nicușor Dan, identifying serious irregularities. These include the use of a company car for electoral purposes and the non-declaration of more than 3 million lei in online donations. The procedure for collecting donations raises suspicions and the irregularities could lead to financial sanctions, including confiscation of the undeclared amounts. AEP has referred the matter to the Public Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
