The University of Bucharest (UB) officially opens on July 1, 2026, the summer session of the admission contest for its 20 faculties, offering 20,682 places, of which 8,420 are funded by the state budget.

Registrations take place between July 1 and 24, and the final results will be posted on July 31. The offer includes 11,044 places for bachelor's degrees, 9,015 for master's degrees, and 623 for doctoral programs. UB allocates special places for disadvantaged categories, including 218 for priority development areas, 129 for graduates from rural areas, and 85 for candidates of Romanian ethnicity.

In the doctoral schools, there are 340 budget-funded places available, of which 165 come with scholarships. Candidates can register online, and UB organizes a special session for medal-winning athletes. Details about exams and fees are available on the official university platform.
