5,784 beginning teachers passed the Definitivat exam, with the majority scoring between 8 and 8.50, according to the initial results published by MEC.

The Ministry of Education has announced that 5,784 out of the 9,169 candidates for the Definitivat 2025 exam passed, obtaining the minimum average of 8 required for the right to practice. The majority of the marks were between 8 and 8.50, and 40 candidates obtained the maximum mark of 10, but only 33 had a final average of 10. Those who didn't get the minimum average remain beginners and cannot advance in their teaching career. Almost 650 candidates missed or left the exam and 9 were eliminated for fraud.
