Daniel David, Minister of Education, has announced the publication of the final report of the framework plans for secondary schools, which will be submitted for public consultation. The new plans aim at updating the curriculum, integrating key competences and balancing subjects for effective training. Changes include increasing the number of hours for subjects such as grammar, history and geography. It also proposes to personalize education at school unit level. Implementation of the reform will begin in the 2026-2027 school year, with the aim of improving educational outcomes.
