Education Minister Daniel David said the fiscal package includes a reduction in the amount of hourly pay for teachers as part of efforts to reduce the budget deficit. He explained that two hours have been added to the teaching norm to reduce the free rules, keeping it below the European average. David emphasized that the education system has contributed to the budget deficit, due to unsustainable financial decisions that have increased spending on human resources.
