A study conducted by ASE shows that vouchers contribute more than 2% to Romania's GDP, having a major economic impact. Every leu spent through these vouchers generates an additional 2.91 leu to GDP. Meal vouchers account for 84% of all vouchers issued, supporting more than 128,000 jobs. Holiday vouchers contribute to tourism and cultural vouchers are starting to have a positive impact on the cultural sector. The study highlights the versatility of this instrument in various public policies.
