UniCredit Bank CEO Mihaela Lupu says lending appetite remains steady, but there are concerns about investment and the impact of tax changes on companies

Mihaela Lupu, CEO of UniCredit Bank, said that although lending appetite has not decreased significantly, there are signs of concern among customers, especially regarding investments and the financial situations of companies affected by tax changes. Lupu noted that the second half of the year will be complicated and clients are waiting for the situation to stabilize. UniCredit Bank has also finalized the merger with Alpha Bank Romania, and now has a market share of 11% by total assets and 13% by total loans.
