The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, announced that, through Package I, the governing coalition decided to freeze incomes at certain levels for the year 2026. This decision was communicated in Brussels and must be respected. When asked about possible increases in pensions and the minimum wage in 2026, Nazare stated that there have been no discussions in the coalition on these topics.
