The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed down on Monday, with a total turnover of 98.74 million lei (approximately 19.37 million euros).


The main index, BET, decreased by 1.16%, reaching 27,121.15 points. The BET-Plus and BET-BK indices also had negative performances, depreciating by 1.15% and 1.41%, respectively. The BET-NG index, which reflects companies in the energy sector, decreased by 1.10%, while BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a reduction of 1.18%. The most liquid shares were those of OMV Petrom, with transactions of 18.02 million lei, followed by Banca Transilvania and ETF BET Patria-Tradeville.



The best performances were recorded by the shares of Energopetrol (+14.95%), Uztel (+4.17%) and Altur (+3.33%), while Antibiotice, Artego and the Orșova Shipyard had the largest declines.
