In November 2025, Romania recorded a 36.3% increase in new car registrations compared to the same month in 2024, reaching a total of 13,816 units. Electric and hybrid cars performed remarkably, with a 52% increase in this segment. SUVs dominate the market, holding a share of 52.4%, followed by Class C and Class B. Gasoline engines increased by 19.5%, while diesel engines rose by 29%. Electrified cars have a share of 56.5%, and fully electric cars increased from 4.9% to 7.4%. The best-selling electric cars are Dacia Spring, Hyundai Kona, and Tesla Model 3. Additionally, light commercial vehicles increased by 23.7%, while heavy vehicles rose by 21.5%.
