Ryanair has confirmed that, starting today, parents traveling with their children will be seated for free next to them, without additional costs.

This change comes as a result of a dispute with European aviation regulatory authorities, which highlighted that the company's previous policy did not comply with European standards. Adults will continue to pay a single fee for the reserved seat, with the option to select free seats for up to four children.

Ryanair's CEO, Michael O’Leary, criticized this measure, accusing the authorities of ignoring consumer needs and affecting the company's transparent policy.
