The National Institute of Statistics has estimated a GDP of 1.760 trillion lei for 2024, with a real growth of 0.8% compared to 2023. In the fourth quarter of 2024, GDP grew by 0.6% compared with the third quarter and by 0.5% compared with the same period in 2023. Various sectors, such as agriculture and trade, have seen changes in their contributions to GDP, and revisions to the estimates have led to adjustments to previous data.
