Rutte emphasized the importance of Romania as a NATO ally and its leadership role in the Black Sea region. He also mentioned Romania's support for Ukraine and addressed the issue of Russian drone incursions into Romanian airspace, assuring that NATO takes these incidents seriously. President Nicușor Dan added that Romania is implementing a national strategy for the defense industry, considering the revitalization of this essential economic area.
