Oil prices climbed on Wednesday, with Brent contracts hitting $70.45 a barrel and WTI at $68.66, amid solid demand for gasoline in the US and attacks on ships in the Red Sea. The EIA report showed an increase in US crude stocks but a decline in gasoline stocks. US crude oil production is expected to be lower in 2025, and OPEC+ has approved an increase in production while keeping prices stable.
