Qualicaps, the world's third largest producer of gelatin capsules, announces a significant expansion of its Bucharest plant with an investment of over €10 million. This expansion will increase production capacity by 35%, installing up to 6 new lines that will add 3.5 billion capsules annually. The plant, inaugurated in 2008, produces around 10 billion gelatine capsules annually and will benefit from internal reconfigurations to support the new production lines. The decision reflects confidence in Romania's potential in the global pharmaceutical supply chain.
