The Polish company PESA has signed a contract for the delivery of 62 electric oars to Romania, worth up to 4.1 billion lei.

The contract also includes maintenance and repair services for a period of 15 years, with the possibility of extension up to 30 years. The manufacturer will set up dedicated service centers in the country's three regions to maintain the more than 90 trains. The purchase represents the largest order of regional electric trains for Romania.
