The Institute of Financial Studies and Aurel Vlaicu University organized the OSEEC 2025 conference, focused on digital financial education and academic adaptation to new challenges.

Between October 16 and 18, 2025, in Arad, the third edition of the international OSEEC conference took place, organized by the Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) and Aurel Vlaicu University. The conference addressed financial education in the digital era and the need for academic and practical transformation in financial markets.

The main objectives were to bring together researchers in the economic field and to create a working group for the development of economic competencies through financial education. The rector of UAV, Teodor Cilan, emphasized the need to adapt the university curriculum to technological developments, while Valentin Ionescu, president of ISF, highlighted the importance of financial education as an essential necessity.

Cristian Pascu, a member of BVB, stressed the importance of practical experience in investments, encouraging young people to take risks. Additionally, ISF announced the launch of the Investment Academy, a project aimed at students, and organized a vocational training seminar, involving 50 students interested in financial education.
