OPEC+ is preparing to announce a significant increase in oil production by 411,000 bpd in August, which would lead to a total increase of 1.78 million bpd by 2025. The decision comes after a change in strategy, scrapping previous production cuts. Although some members have exceeded their targets, OPEC+ is looking to regain lost market share. Oil prices have fluctuated recently and a meeting of the group is scheduled for July 6.
