According to data from the National Institute of Statistics, the turnover in industry recorded a nominal increase of 3.2% in the first ten months of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024. In October 2025, the turnover increased by 0.4% compared to the previous month, due to a 0.6% increase in the manufacturing industry, while the extractive industry decreased by 4.7%. Compared to October 2024, the turnover increased by 1.6%, with a positive contribution from the manufacturing industry (+1.9%). In the major industrial groups, increases were recorded in the capital goods industry (+3.8%) and consumer goods (+2.9%), while the energy industry experienced a decrease of 9.7%. Overall, the period from January 1 to October 31, 2025, showed a growth of 3.2% compared to the similar period in 2024, with significant expansion in the extractive industry (+12.6%) and in the durable goods industry (+9.7%).
