In a document addressed to the SEC, Intel highlighted that 76% of its revenues in 2024 come from international business, which makes the company vulnerable to the trade policies of the Trump administration. This could negatively affect relationships with foreign clients and governments. Intel mentioned litigation risks and political pressure, considering that the U.S. government will have voting rights on the board of directors. The transaction, largely funded through the CHIPS Act program, was praised by Trump, but Intel has not completed the analysis of the financial implications.
