According to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS), the annual inflation rate in November 2025 was 9.8%, similar to that of October 2025. The consumer price index increased by 0.42% compared to the previous month, and the inflation rate since the beginning of the year was 9.5%.
Food products increased in price by 7.64% compared to November 2024, with cocoa and coffee having the highest price increases. Non-food products rose by 10.73%, with electricity experiencing a significant increase of 62.36%. Services increased by 10.99%, with CFR transport and hygiene services being the most affected. The average rate of change in consumer prices over the last 12 months was 6.9% for CPI.
