Hyundai Motor announced on Wednesday ambitious plans to launch or modernize over 100 vehicle models globally by 2030, aiming to improve its operational profit margin to over 9%.

As part of its largest product launch in its history, the company will introduce 58 models in North America, targeting market segments where it is underrepresented.

Hyundai will increase its global production capacity by 1.27 million units, including 500,000 in North America.

The company is also expanding its business in the fields of robotics and autonomous driving, planning deliveries of IONIQ 5 vehicles for robotaxi in 2026 and commercial services without a driver in Las Vegas.

Hyundai aims for global sales of 5.55 million vehicles by 2030, with 60% of them being electrified.
