HempFlax, a Dutch hemp producer, has decided to sell its agricultural portfolio in Romania, which includes nearly 800 hectares of compact and uniform agricultural land, located near a modern hemp processing facility.
The sales package also includes all the necessary equipment for production activities. Located in the Sebeș–Alba Iulia area, the property benefits from a developed industrial hub, attracting investors from various industries. The decision to close operations in Romania comes after a strategic reassessment, and HempFlax will focus its investments closer to customers in Western Europe.
Founded in 1993, HempFlax is a leader in the industrial hemp market, with operations in both the Netherlands and Germany, and its products are used in various industries, from automotive to construction.
