Ford Motor has announced the recall of 101,944 Taurus sedans in the U.S. due to a defect that may cause the trim pieces on the center pillar of the doors to detach, thus risking accidents. The affected models are those manufactured between 2016 and 2019. Dealers will inspect the vehicles and perform repairs or replacements of parts at no cost to owners, according to NHTSA.
