George Niculescu, the president of the National Regulatory Authority in the field of Energy, stated that the decrease in electricity prices will continue, as the market is now consumer-oriented. After the expiration of the price cap scheme, many suppliers have reduced prices, and competition forces them to offer competitive deals. Niculescu emphasized the importance of correctly informing consumers and severely sanctioned any attempt to manipulate the market. The Authority will continue to monitor the market to ensure fair prices and quality services.
