Digi Communications (stock symbol DIGI) announced that it has successfully completed the public offering for the sale of 51.3 million shares of its subsidiary Digi Spain Telecom, at a price of 5.6 euros per share.
The operation was oversubscribed, with investor demand significantly exceeding the number of available shares. The Spanish family Domínguez de la Maza, known for the Mayoral brand, played a crucial role, committing to purchase shares worth 100 million euros.
The offering included a primary tranche of 26.8 million new shares and a secondary tranche of 24.5 million existing shares. Digi Romania provided global coordinators with an over-allotment option for 7.69 million shares. After this transaction, the parent group will retain approximately 80% of the share capital. The funds raised will be used to expand fiber networks and mobile infrastructure in Spain, where Digi aims for revenues of over 1 billion euros by 2026.
Digi Spain shares will begin trading on the stock exchanges in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Valencia starting July 16, under the symbol DIGIS.
