On November 19, 2025, the leu depreciated against the euro, the exchange rate reaching 5.0889 lei, while against the dollar it fell to 4.3980 lei. At the same time, the price of a gram of gold rose to 581.2510 lei.

The National Bank of Romania (BNR) published the exchange rate for November 19, 2025, highlighting a depreciation of the leu against the euro, which was quoted at 5.0889 lei, an increase of 0.30 bani (+0.05%) compared to the previous day. Additionally, the leu also depreciated against the dollar, which reached 4.3980 lei, up by 0.74 bani (+0.16%). In contrast, the national currency appreciated against the Swiss franc, which was calculated at 5.4787 lei, down by 2.97 bani (-0.53%). Furthermore, the gram of gold recorded an increase, reaching 581.2510 lei, compared to 571.4179 lei the previous day. The exchange rates are calculated by BNR based on the quotations of authorized banks, without imposing their use in actual transactions.
