The operational result of BCR increased by 9% in the first nine months of 2025, reaching 3,099 million lei, supported by the growth of interest and commission income.

In the first 9 months of 2025, BCR recorded a net profit of 2.467 billion lei, compared to 2.217 billion lei in the same period of 2024. This result was favored by the favorable decision of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, which allowed the release of a previous provision. This ruling was related to an action initiated by BCR BpL's subsidiary for the cancellation of accessory budgetary obligations.

The net interest income increased by 11.9%, while the fee income rose by 5.6%. Administrative expenses increased by 7.5%, and the cost-to-income ratio improved to 36.0%. The non-performing loan ratio was 3.7%, and the coverage ratio with provisions was 127.2%.
