Starting from November 1, the employees of the ArcelorMittal plant in Hunedoara will be recalled to work, preparing for the resumption of long product production with steel brought from Ukraine. Until then, they will be on technical unemployment, receiving 75% of their salary. The voluntary departure scheme has been suspended. Management decided to restart operations after halting production due to high energy costs. Local authorities are requesting the declassification of the plant's privatization contract.
