The artificial intelligence company Anthropic, known for its chatbot Claude, has secured significant funding, now valuing itself at 183 billion dollars. This funding round, led by Iconiq Capital and supported by Fidelity and Lightspeed, will enable the rapid development of the company. Founded in 2021 by the Amodei brothers, Anthropic competes with OpenAI and other AI firms, having over 300,000 clients and estimating annual revenues of over five billion dollars.
