Artificial intelligence developer Anthropic has reached annualized revenue of $3 billion, up significantly from $1 billion in December 2024. This expansion, largely from selling AI models to companies, reflects a growing demand for code generation. Although Anthropic competes with OpenAI, with lower consumer adoption, the company is recognized as a leader in AI services for enterprises. It recently closed a $3.5 billion funding round, valued at $61.4 billion.
