Airbus has intensified deliveries in the last days of 2025 to meet its targets, according to Bloomberg sources. The company reduced last month its estimates for the delivery of 820 aircraft in 2025, due to issues with the A320 model, its best-selling aircraft. These issues include a massive recall for software updates and the discovery of fuselage panels that did not meet specifications, requiring additional inspections. An Airbus spokesperson declined to comment on the delivery figures, stating that official data will be published on January 12. Deliveries from Airbus and rival Boeing are important indicators for financial performance and supply chain stability. In 2024, Airbus delivered 766 commercial aircraft, maintaining its industry-leading position for the sixth consecutive year.
