The President of the CFA Romania Association, Adrian Codirlașu, discussed the fiscal measures that can stimulate the Romanian economy, mentioning the bonuses for early tax payments, which encourage the speed of payments and contribute to the state budget. He also emphasized the importance of facilities for micro-enterprises and accelerated over-depreciation, which support companies in the technology sector. Codirlașu highlighted the need to leave more money in the private sector by reducing public spending to decrease the budget deficit, instead of raising taxes. He mentioned that Romania is facing a decline in consumption, a situation without precedent in the last 10 years, caused by inflation and increased taxation. Codirlașu concluded that the solutions for reducing inflation are of a fiscal nature, focusing on reducing public spending.
